Subject: British reparations.

Just a few points from an actual student of world history.

If Britain is responsible for the deaths in Soviet gulags because we invented machine guns then surely China is in fact the guilty party as it invented gunpowder.

I note this group is American: When denigrating us for leaving our colonies perhaps you might remember we wanted to hold onto them. Dean Acehson amongst others made it clear while Secstate that the British Empire had to go. Israel was able to force British troops out of Palestine in 1947-48 because Truman made it clear British retaliation would not go down well in Washington. India forced us out before we COULD leave an
infrastructure in place, Mountbatten and others tried to negotiate a gradual pull out and was refused.

Genocide: look up the Ancient Greeks ie Alexander the Great, the Assyrians, the Romans and Genghis Khan. All of whome preceded British Imperial expansion by several hundred years.

The Black Plague originated in South Western Asia not Britain.

Versailles: Britain was the country that was LEAST in favour of
reparations. The extortion of repaprations was primarily France. See the Ruhr Crisis 1923.

Your knowledge of history is rather pathetic.

Yours disgustedly.
