I'm British and I wondered if I would be entitled to a share in this money. The chances are that my ancestors have been getting worked over by various British elites for generations so I think I'm just as due this cash as everyone else.
Also, just to point out something, the royal family doesn't rule the country. We have them as figureheads and representatives, they don't get to decide anything. We find it helpful to have titular heads of states so we don't find ourselves in the situation where one person can declare war etc. without recourse to the representative bodies of the people.
Anyway, I'm sure we'll pay everyone just as soon as the USA compensates the people of Chile for the horrors of the Pinochet regime and puts Kissinger on trial rather than trying to pass him off as an elder statesman.
