Please explain to me what would happen to the world if the UK did pay out 30 trillion pounds or so to the world? That would de-stabilise the strongest economy in Europe. And Europe has the most influential/powerful economy in the world. It is especially important for the USA in terms of trade. There would be another great depression and millions would die through famine in countries you could never believe.
I've studied history and relish any chance to have a debate about controversial issues. This organisation seems to have no standing. Your claims are ill perceived and incorrect on many levels. The UK is being judged under hindsight and therefore is a hollow argument. Many of the 101 ways in which the British ruined the world have got nothing to do with ruining the world. How did a defeat from Napoleon that never happened ruin the world? Maybe that is just a minority view of some Americans who take a dim view of the French. Not a very mature point to make if you indeed are serious.
I have taken the time to view much of your material on the internet, and write this email and look forward to discussing your claims. Please do reply i look forward to hearing from you.
